At an event blessed by Mr. Arun Duggal, Chairman STFC and Mr. R Sunadararajan, Director Shriram Group the state of the art Head Office was inaugurated by the Hon’ble collector of Indore, Mr. Rakesh Shrivastav (IAS) on the 18th January 2009
The gracious event was attended by eminent people of the city. The learned dignitaries blessing the ceremony apprised the attendees of the success path measured by SFSL and the Group till now. Optimism prevailed across the attendees towards the growth which the company and the group envisage for the years to come.
SFSL brought into existence with a vision to enhance the distribution power of the group as a core area of activity, while enabling the group’s other companies for dwell on their core competencies. SFSL chartered on the path to become the distribution backbone of the group on 23rd September 2006. The company now has elaborate distribution mechanism SFSL has a direct presence through more than 100 branches and an indirect presence through STFC / SCUF / RR Channels in more than 550 locations throughout the country. Headed by Mr. Manoj Jain, CEO, the Company has expanded its coverage to the entirety of the country. The national footprint has been enabled by the Regional Heads, Mr. G L Vinod Kumar (South), Mr. Arvind Shivhare (West), Mr. Ajay Bobal (North) and now Ms. Zinnia Mitra Bose (East). The company has achieved a year on year growth of nearly 151% in Investments (Net) while in the Life Insurance the growth has been fourfold; the non-life business has been emerging with a growth more than twice over the last calendar year. The Agency Base of the Company has grown to more than 20000. A significant part of them are now selling multi-products. The company has more than 1000 Employees as compared to 400 a year ago. The sales team has been strategically structured to offer the need based financial solutions to the customers through a mix of Business Associates and Rural Representatives.
